May 14-17, 2025
36th Annual Boston International Trauma Conference
Boston, MA
I am delighted to announce that I will be presenting two workshops at the 36th annual Boston Trauma Conference, May 14-17, 2025.
Teaming up with Mariah Rooney, there will be a three-hour workshop exploring Pesso-Boyden System Psychomotor, which is featured in Chapter 18 of The Body Keeps the Score.
I will also be offering a two hour workshop on War, Displacement, and the Long Shadow of Trauma: The 50th Anniversary of the Fall of Saigon where I will combine research with narrative reconstruction.
For mental health clinicians, this milestone is more than a historical event; it is a crucial opportunity to deepen our understanding of the lasting psychological effects of war, authoritarian trauma, forced migration, and intergenerational trauma upon those who directly experience them and their descendants and communities at large.
